brand design
Charming and romantic brand design for Urban Soirée, a Boston-based wedding planning company.
Award-winning wedding planning & design
Founder Renée works with couples to create “once in a lifetime weddings for the modern couple.” Her work focuses on taking care of every last detail, from the vendors and the food to the timeline and every small detail in between. When Renee came to us for a new company look, we knew just what to do.

We focused on a few main objectives.
Create a balance between fine art romance and modern styles, make it feel charming, soft, and luxury, incorporate sandstone and lighter blush, and appeal to both romantic and edgier couples.
Colors & Font Direction
First up: Color and font exploration
We curated a palette consisting of various blush and sand shades to appeal to her broad clientele.
For the fonts, we decided on a serif for headlines paired with a script for a romantic flair. To tie the fonts together, we went with a sans serif for a modern touch.
Custom Logo Creation
Second up: Logo design
The new Urban Soirée logo features an interlocking “U” and “S,” subtle wordplay on two individuals coming together to form an “us.”
Outside of the letters sits a cut gemstone leading to an “ultra luxury” first impression that evokes the feeling of weddings. Finally, the icon is tied together with a matching secondary logo. The idea for this was pulled from Renee’s inspiration of beautiful tile in Positano, Italy.
The Urban Soirée brand conveys a magical feeling that transports clients to another place.
