We focused on a few main objectives.
As a whole, the new Glint Events branding embodies elegance, sophistication, celebration, and fun.
Objective 1
Create something that exemplified approachable elegance
For the logo, we started with a thin and sleek serif font and manipulated the shape of the “I” in Glint and the “V” in events to add a bit of personality. For half of the logo configurations, we used a beautiful script font for the word “Events,” which brings in a touch of that elegance. Our favorite part of the brand suite is a custom G icon with a hidden champagne glass in the center.
Objective 2
Catering to both audience that Glint Event serves.
Glint Events does not only plan weddings – they’re also skilled at corporate events. So, in order to cater to the two different audiences, we designed a secondary landing page that focuses exclusively on the corporate events they do, with additional details and images to click through. This allows the rest of the site and portfolio galleries to concentrate on weddings.
Objective 3
Subtle, yet interactive animations throughout the site pages.
It was important for the website to be nicely flowing as visitors scroll through. We accomplished this with subtle animations, starting with the logo icon on select pages that “pops” the champagne bottle. The navigation is also a fly-out mega menu that is elegant and easy to use. There are also rotating circular text animations on a few different sections that add movement.
